The overflow went for an estimated 78 hours – from 9:55 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9 through 3:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Officials say the derailment happened off Danville Road – and as many as ten train cars have jumped the railroad tracks.

Authorities say he was out with friends and may have consumed alcohol, and it is reported that he was not a strong swimmer.
