A day after exiting with discomfort in his left shoulder, Josh Naylor was out of the starting lineup Friday, but neither he nor the Mariners seem overly concerned.

Seattle Mariners first baseman Josh Naylor received a pivotal update involving his left shoulder injury sustained during Thursday's game.

Although he is off to a hot start over his first 13 games with Seattle, Naylor's momentum may be briefly halted. During Thursday’s game against the White Sox, Naylor was removed in the top of the fourth inning and replaced by teammate Donovan Solano.
