Harjinder Singh appeared in California court for an extradition hearing Tuesday. Authorities say he flew to Sacramento after the Turnpike accident and was later arrested.

Harjinder Singh is accused of making an illegal U-turn on Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County while driving a commercial semi-truck and trailer.
