Python might be the most popular programming language in the world, but unlike other frontrunner JavaScript, you can't run Python code in the browser.

In the December update to Python in Visual Studio Code, developers can experiment with a new preview feature that lets them run and debug Python code in the browser.

The updated Python extension is available for download from Microsoft's Visual Studio Code (VS Code) marketplace, where it's currently the most popular programming language by a long mile.
