A Florida woman captured a video of an alligator killing and eating a python in the Everglades. A geoscientist based in Florida told Insider that it's becoming an increasingly common sight.

At Everglades National Park, visitors watched as a hefty alligator wrestled with a Burmese python, thrashing the snake's body in the water before sinking its jaws back in, reported the Miami Herald.

As one commenter joked, "Congratulations, your python is pregnant with an alligator." Florida encourages people to kill Burmese pythons because they eat so many other species and reproduce rapidly.
