When the cursor turns into a plus sign, draw a text box on the Word document. It does not need to be the same size as the text to rotate; you can change the size in a later step.

Rotate Entire Document Click "Format" on the main menu in Word to display a list of formatting tools and features. Click "Text Direction" to launch the Text Direction window.
