When you link a cell in Excel to a cell from another worksheet, the cell that contains the link shows the same data as the cell from the other worksheet.

For instance, if a cell in one worksheet has a sales number, you can display that value in another worksheet by adding a reference to that cell.

Find the sheet you want to link to under Cell Reference. Highlight the sheet. In the Text To Display control, Excel will combine the sheet name with a reference to cell A1.
