To import contact data from a CSV file to your iPhone, you must first import the data from the CSV file to a contact management program that is compatible with the iPhone.

Most email clients and Web-based services can easily export contacts as CSV files. Then you just need to import that file into Yahoo Mail to have all your contacts at your fingertips.

Then, browse to the .csv file you would like to import. Here, under Options, choose whether to replace duplicates (existing contacts), create duplicate contacts, or not import duplicates.
