Jide’s Remix OS brings multitasking, windows, and a taskbar to Android, and you can run it on a PC. Even in alpha, the fledgling OS is an intriguing look at what could be.

Update: Remix OS for PC is now available for download. Jide worked with the developers behind the Android-x86 project to bring Remix OS to desktops.

Jide Technology has released Remix OS Player, a new Android emulator that creates a virtual Android 6.0.1 desktop within the Windows environment for free.
