Samsung has announced the availability of no less than three new high-tech additions to its market-leading Odyssey range of gaming monitors – including the world’s first OLED screen capable of supporting 500Hz refresh rates.

Previously, if you wanted a monitor for competitive gaming, you had to choose between an IPS or VA panel to get something with a super high refresh rate or opt for a slower OLED display with richer colors and better contrast.

OLED shipments are predicted to grow by 86% in 2025, driven by the PC gaming, with the Europe and China markets expected to see the biggest impact.
